Nothing like the breeze and summer sun on your freshly shaved neck and sides! Well, I say shaved, but since the hair is less than a millimeter short it pretty much counts as shaved, doesn’t it? How’s your day been, followers?

Review of Lev Grossman’s The Magicians
WARNING!!! SPOILERS BELOW!!!

I really liked this Book, it was kind of like The Secret History meets Harry Potter. It made Me a bit annoyed as well, mainly because the Main character is depicted as a lonely, depressed and fucked up person with a love for escapism. I love escapism as well so it was like looking Into a cruel mirror. The entire Book was like HP and Narnia except done well, the Fillory Books seemed like something I would have liked as a kid (the Watcherwoman with her Clock trees is cooler than The White Witch, the Twin rams Ember and Umber are cooler than Aslan, etc). It is to HP and Narnia what Watchmen is to superhero comics.

What is more humiliating, falling on the floor or staying on your feet while using public transport? On the bus today it turned quite fast while driving in the roundabout, and I lost my balance. Losing my footing was unacceptable, so I stayed on my feet by doing a series of very fast pirouettes to the other side of the bus and then back again. I don’t know why falling down seemed worse than doing this, as it looked absolutely ridiculous. At least the bus driver and passengers got a good laugh, they probably needed it!

In an hour I’ll see my new psychologist, whom I am not on good terms with. Anxious and worried and just plain ol’ feeling bad about it. I wish I had my old psychologist, she was great and really got me, but she only works with children. Blahblahblah pointless post is pointless.

So, this is for you, followers. Should I post more recipes? I can’t really cook so the recipes will be really simple and mostly vegetarian (but I’ll try and make them vegan-friendly as well as meat-eater-friendly). Does that sound like a good idea, would you want to read it?

Writing this on my phone, so the formatting is messed up, but whatever.

Delicious dinner recipe!
Ingredients:
1 heaped teaspoon honey
1-2 teaspoons soy (I used Chinese mushroom soy, use whatever you have)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
0.5 cups Quorn fillet/rehydrated soy fillet/Chicken; diced
1 clove garlic
some oil

Mix the honey, sesame oil and soy together until combined (make an emulsion of it), then press the garlic Into it and mix some more. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the Quorn/soy protein/Chicken, and then pour the honey mixture over it, letting it cook together for a couple minutes. Serve!
Feel free to change the proportions and spicing around, make lots of sauce as it is delicious with the protein of choice. This goes well with a vinaigrette salad and your beverage of choice.
